CCCL UK’s “Becoming Light” Gala Unites Supporters in London for Children with Cancer in Lebanon
CCCL UK hosted its fundraising gala, “Becoming Light: An Evening of Courage and Hope,” on October 10, 2026, at The Peninsula London, bringing together donors, supporters, and friends of the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) to support life-saving treatment for children with cancer.

The evening reflected a shared commitment to helping children in Lebanon receive the treatment and comprehensive care they need, at no cost to their families. Through ticket purchases, auction bids, and donations, guests supported the continuity of this vital care.
Musical performances by Aleph Abi Saad and the London Arab Orchestra, alongside Ghenwa Nemnom, brought artistry and energy to an evening dedicated to the Center’s mission.
CCCL expressed its gratitude to CCCL UK’s Director, Mrs. Maria Sukkar, the organizing committee, and all donors and guests for their generosity and commitment. Special appreciation was extended to Platinum Sponsor Mrs. Maria Sukkar and Dar, Silver Sponsor Chatila Jewellers, and supporters Rima Events (Mrs. Rima Kabbani Stait), Middle East Airlines, and Shadow on Thames for their valuable contributions to the evening’s success.
