The grant will be used to cover the costs of the bone marrow transplants for two patients and the treatment of one brain tumor patient. A bone marrow transplant is a medical procedure that replaces damaged or destroyed bone marrow with healthy bone marrow stem cells. This procedure is often used to treat cancer patients whose bone marrow has been damaged by chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
Brain tumors can be very challenging to treat, and the cost of treatment can be very high. However, with your support through the CCCL UK grant, CCCL will be able to provide comprehensive medical care to these patients and ensure that they receive the best possible treatment.
The CCCL UK grants have been significant contributions to CCCL and have been making a real difference in the lives of children with cancer and their families since 2014. With these grants, CCCL will be able to continue providing high-quality medical care and support to children with cancer in Lebanon.
